Preparatory Stage

Preparatory Stage

3,4 and 5 classes

This stage is for children between the ages of 8 and 11 years, and has been named as Preparatory stage. In this stage of Classes 3, 4 and 5, introduction to textbooks, interactive learning and subjects that build their Reading, Writing, Speaking, Physical Education, Art, Languages, Science, and Mathematics skills will be highlighted.

This is to inculcate the habit of reading and writing in children. Instead of rote learning, students in this stage will be encouraged to interact with teachers and ask them questions as much as possible.

  • The main focus in the preparatory stage will remain on language development and numeracy skills.
  • Here the method of teaching and learning would be play and activity based and also classroom interactions and element of discovery.
  • In this stage of classes 3,4 and 5 introduction to text books, interactive learning and subjects that build their Reading, Writing, Speaking, Physical education, Art, Languages, Science and Mathematics skills will be highlighted. This is to inculcate a habit of reading and writing in children.
  • Instead of rote learning students in this stage will be encouraged to interact with teachers and ask them questions as much as possible.
  • Believes and follow that from childhood education and learning Strategies should be easy and in a qualitative manner till higher level.
  • Believes that the education is required to build potential among the children and to develop cognitive skills.
  • For the betterment of child’s education we introduced 3-tier system to address the children individually.
  • Activity based teaching will be followed and we will focus on developing Writing Skills and also handwriting will be taken care of.
  • Supportive workbooks are developed to make the Teaching-learning process easier.
  • Level wise worksheets are planned for the improvement of the children.
  • Providing knowledge of ‘phonetics’ and soft skills for improvement in English language.
  • Conducting Chapter End Assessments.
  • Conducting all Subjects Olympiad Examinations.
